Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (part-time)

Position Summary:

Foundation Physical Therapy is looking for a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Atlanta. This is an opportunity to work closely with Dr. Matthew in a small, creative, and supportive environment where patient care is highly personalized and whole-person focused. The ideal candidate is compassionate, curious, and experienced in physical therapy or clinical settings — someone who values innovation, education, and patient empowerment.

This position has the opportunity to become full-time. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist in delivering individualized care plans under the guidance of Dr. Matthew

  • Lead patients through therapeutic exercises and modalities with purpose and presence

  • Help the PT design home exercise programs and reflections tailored to each patient’s needs

  • Document patient progress and contribute to ongoing assessments

  • Help educate patients about their conditions, goals, and progress

  • Support clinic operations and maintain a welcoming, organized space

  • Engage with patients in a way that builds trust, curiosity, and commitment to their healing

What We’re Looking For:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Georgia

  • Experience in physical therapy or clinical care settings

  • Open-mindedness, creativity, and a genuine passion for patient education

  •  Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit

  • High level of professionalism and accountability in both patient care and team communication

  • Interest in neuroscience, body awareness, and holistic healing approaches is a plus
